Ashley House
Ashley House is located in a small village approximately a mile from Leamington Spa. It provides accommodation for adults with mental illness who require support and supervision and who presently are unable to live independently. Ashley House is able to accommodate Residents staying either indefinitely or working towards becoming more independent and moving on to less supported accommodation.
It has thirteen bright and spacious rooms, five with en-suite facilities. Externally, there is a secluded patio area with seating, a smoking shelter, with plans for raised garden beds and a greenhouse maintained by the residents and staff.
There is an eight seat multi-purpose vehicle for transporting residents to activities, appointments and social events.
Ashley House has registered mental health nursing staff and care staff on duty during the day and care staff at night.There is a full-time activity member of staff and a full-time cook.
Ashley House emphasis is on maintaining or developing the skills of an individual to maximise their level of independence. Residents are encouraged, if able, to maintain their own rooms, do their personal laundry and cook snacks and light meals. Residents who do not have these skills are supported by the clinical team.
The village has a post office, local shops, a public house, two places of worship and is very close to a regular bus service.
